Technical Sales

Founded in 1972, Action Vibratory Equipment is committed to the design and manufacture of innovative material-handling solutions. We serve industries worldwide, including sawmills, foundries, quarries, power plants, and recycling facilities.

ACTION is currently looking to add a sales engineer to our team with a passion and an aptitude for custom machinery. This person would be responsible for tracking down leads, determining customer needs and technical machinery applications, interfacing with engineering, generating price quotations and conducting follow-up. Depending on experience, this position could also involve creating sales drawings.

Applicants MUST have the following qualifications:

• Min. 3 years experience in equipment sales, custom equipment design or other relevant technical field.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office environment (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Friendly attitude with a focus on prompt customer service
• Detail-oriented personality
• Multitasking ability
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

· * Willingness to travel on a limited basis for customer visitations & trade shows

Applicants with skills in the following are preferred:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor
• Experience in selling, designing or manufacturing vibratory equipment and/or material handling equipment
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
